Ordered spare part that actually fit my oven. Arrived in three days from next state over. Unplugged power cord, removed racks, used 1/4" socket on ratchet with 6 inch extension to remove two sheet metal screws at lower back of oven. Pulled old element out 2 inches then tilted front of element up 45 degrees for spade connectors to clear holes at back of oven. Personally I have experience working with electricity and knowing if I bought the part required this would be an easy fix. I got my model number and contacted Appliance Parts Pros and placed my order for the new elements, terminal blocks, and for appearance purposes 4 new Drip Pans. Excellent service and quick shipping. There are hex screws keeping the igniter in place. I think they were 5/16...so you have to have a socket wrench. The space is kind of tight, and it's all on the right side, so if you're left handed (like I am) it's going to be a challenge to get the hex screws out without dropping them. Dropping them isn't too bad if they don't fall into the hole the gas pipe is coming through. Unfortunately one of them fell in there, and there's no getting it out of there. Replaced all four element switches. Switches arrived within two days of ordering. That's about normal for AppliancePartsPros. They were the correct ones; not generic, and fit the original control knobs perfectly. This kind of service is what I'm used to from ApplicanePartsPros. Read more

This was much easier than expected. I called Appliance Parts Pros with my model # and you told me what part I needed. It was shipped the same day and arrived the next day. I removed the inner door trim with a table knife ( don't rush this or you might crack the trim ). I then unhooked the old door latch disconnected the spring from the door hooked on the spring from the new latch and clipped in the latch to the door. Final step was to reattach the door trim. DISCONNECT CIRCUIT BREAKER!!!. Remove oven door. Remove two screws that attach the element to the back of the oven, and two screws that secure element to the oven roof, then remove element. Had to be careful that the four wires don't slip into the back of the oven (difficult) to keep them from falling back as they are very short. Remove and replace element. Unscrewed the stove top, unplugged the connections, removed the stovetop. Replaced the burner and the switch. Put it back together again. Read more

The first symptom was our microwave would continue to run after the time was up. The light would go out, the turn table would stop but you could still hear the microwave running and whatever was in it would continue to cook. The only way to stop it was to open the door. Originally the dryer was squeaking a lot, so I purchased a new belt tensioner, but the original tensioner was an old-style no wheel tensioner, so that wasn't the source of the squeaking. I saw a lot of lint had built up inside the unit where there shouldn't have been that much.
