I ordered the correct part from AppliancePartsPros.com. When I received it, I opened the package and identified the parts I would need for my application. I cleaned up around my work space, then turned the power off to the appliance. I removed all the burners to get to the mounting screws for the range top. It is difficult (if not impossible) to remove the electronic switches from the hard plastic latches. I replaced all three switches and both the upper and lower latches I also replaced the main 20 amp ceramic fuse which blew out when the latch/switches failed. Read more

Replaced the motor with a direct replacement part. The wiring was not the same because the switch on the motor was different. The instructions that came with the motor were enough for me to figure out what to do. Read more

I replaced the cycle switch, fixing the lack of heat. The timer switch replacement fixed the auto cool down. I watched a cycle switch replacement on Youtube, demonstrating removal of the top console, which answered the only question I had about the repair. The timer switch was a hundred bucks.
