The amount of water being dispensed into the ice cube tray was excessive, causing overflow of the tray. The water then ran into the collection bin and even down the side walls of the freezer creating a huge block of ice in the bin, and ice all over the lower shelves as well. After removing the top rear access panel, I took as-built photographs of the two components to be replaced showing all wires, connectors and screws! The Energy Regulator for the front left burner was replaced first, noting the orientation before pulling off the knob, and removing the retaining screws. Tl;dr: Watch the repair video FIRST. This will take you less than 15m if you do watch the video. You need to remove a door panel, you can't directly replace the icemaker. Replaced broken handle support bracket (part #AP5620448) and cap (part #AP5620751). Used a phillips head screwdriver and allen wrench. Pliers also came in very handy. If replacing cap and support bracket, be sure to install cap before support bracket, otherwise you'll have trouble installing the cap. First, I removed the old gaskets, which was a very easy task since they are held in the doors by rubber beads in recessed slots. I installed the new right door gasket in less than 10 minutes by gradually pushing the retainer bead into the door recessed slot with finger pressure until it was seated properly. The easiest repair I've ever done. I originally thought (after watching some youtube tutorials) I would need to replace the spring on the flap, but it is not accessible on our Samsung model. Undid the two screws holding the flap to the fridge door, pop it up off the other supports, and un-clip it from the power cord. Put the new flap on the same way and all done! Replaced all 3 gaskets with gaskets from appliancepartspros.com. Gaskets took less than 10 minutes to replace and fit perfect!
