Whirlpool Dishwasher Parts

Motor shaft was stripped, replaced with new shaft from Motor Seal Kit. Impeller was also cracked, so replaced it as well. I did run in to a small problem, the chopper blade was pressing against the metal grate on the piece that goes back over the motor seal. I spent about an hour messing with it, but thought maybe once it's all together it'll be fine. When you screw the impeller on, it pushes down the seals, which pushes down the chopper blade. It was easy to snap the broken part off, remove the end-piece of the runner to slide the wheel out, and replace with the new roller/part. Very easy and cost-effective! Thank you! Read more

Replaced the water inlet valve and float switch. Read more

Removed the old planetary and cleaned metal shavings from gears. Transferred the old axle/gear assembly onto the new planetary. Inserted the new (and expensive) screw for the main gear and torqued it very tight (as well as the original other four screws). Slid the new planetary gears together and re-inserted the holding pin. Watched your very helpful and informative "how to" video and replaced both right and left hinges. Getting the front panel to line up on the clips was the most difficult part. Read more

My order came the next day :) All parts were in stock and came clearly labeled and orderly packaged. Within 10 minutes my dishwasher was back in business and I was one happy camper. Popped the old rollers off and snapped on new ones. Read more

Removed control panel where latch and handle are located beneath. Removed front cover plate of dishwasher to reach last handle screw and removed a wire connector to the latch. Then replaced parts in reverse order of disassembly. Read more

Ordered dishwasher rack tine tips and bottle of vinyl touch up paint. I applied the paint to each tine and then placed the tips on the tines. I waited a few hours before using my dishwasher to allow the paint to dry and allow the tips to stick to the tines. Read more

Purchased door springs from Appliance Parts pros.com, installed them and door on our Dishwasher was back to normal, Had to pull out dishwasher from under cupboard to get to springs, as they were on the sides of the dishwasher. Read more
