Whirlpool Dishwasher Parts

This was a problem that I'd had previously with this mixer. The worm gear, which is designed to fail (so that more serious damage does not occur to the motor), did fail while I was mixing some multi-grain bread dough. Popped the piece apart and "popped" the replacement back in....Easy. A better illustration of how the parts "came apart" would have been helpful. Read more

I figured out that it was probably a plugged pump hose, since the pump would run, it somtimes it drained and sometimes it didn't. Your video helped with how to take the dishwasher out and replace the hose. I replaced the hose and everything is now working fine. It turned out to be a broken check valve in the old hose that caused the problem. It took 90 mins to do the repair. Read more

I searched the model on Appliancepartspros.com and ordered the items needed with overnight shipping. My order came the next day :) All parts were in stock and came clearly labeled and orderly packaged. Within 10 minutes my dishwasher was back in business and I was one happy camper. Removed the old planetary and cleaned metal shavings from gears. Transferred the old axle/gear assembly onto the new planetary. Inserted the new (and expensive) screw for the main gear and torqued it very tight (as well as the original other four screws). Slid the new planetary gears together and re-inserted the holding pin. Went on internet, found a great site and learned that the cold water hose filter was very much clogged at the machine intake. Cleaned it and voila. Ordered an extra filter from Appliance Pros.com and literally was amazed that it arrive within 2 days of my internet order. Great efficiency and customer service….great experience. It was easy to snap the broken part off, remove the end-piece of the runner to slide the wheel out, and replace with the new roller/part. Very easy and cost-effective! Thank you! Read more

Number one was turn the power to the dishwasher off. I disconnected the hoses under the sink. The dishwasher had to be pulled out from the cabinet. The old heating element easily came out and the new one put in its place. The instructional video made the repair very easy. Read more
