Whirlpool Door Seal
Genuine Whirlpool part
By: Whirlpool
Part Number: W10239307

The Dryer Door Seal is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool dryers. It is located around the perimeter of the dryer door opening.  Includes door seal and adhesive. The seal prevents air exchanges between the dryer drum and the external environment, helping retain heat inside.

  • Clothes not drying fully before the cycle ends
  • Warm air felt escaping from door/vents during use
  • High energy bills as more runtime needed

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore dryers.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The first repair was replacing a dead circuit board in the frig. The second repair was maintenance items including a drip pan and a new freezer gasket   Dwight S. • Nokesville , VA • September 11, 2018

A tree had fallen across our power lines and the resulting power surge fried the circuit board. The diagnosis was a bit difficult and involved an educated guess based on how the frig was acting. The display was dark unless a button was pressed and the inside light worked but that was all. I had to rule out the compressor as the root cause so I back fed power to the compressor and heard it and the condenser fan fire up. I ordered the board and found the only way I could get it overnight was to... Read more

I ordered the dispenser and the distribution nozzle since the old one was in bad shape. I also replaced the boot since I had to take the entire machine apart and it is 20 years old.
