The Clock is an OEM part for Frigidaire ovens and ranges. It is the central electronic component that regulates and monitors oven functions such as bake, broil, convection, temperature controls, and timers. Causes can be failures in the integrated circuitry, damaged connectors or traces on the board, or water or other environmental damage over time. Symptoms of a clock include:
This OEM Frigidaire part can also be used on Electrolux, Frigidaire, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, and Sears/Kenmore.
I first felt along each heating element (bake and broil) hoping to find a rough or blistered place on them. But they were both smooth with no irregular places. (replacing the elements would have been the easiest and cheapest repair. Pulled the back off the range (unplugged, of course) - checked wiring. There were no loose connections or burned wiring. I disconnected the elements and checked them with a ohmmeter (VOM) and both had continuity. Discovered that both elements used the same... Read more
Supports the dryer drum for smooth rotation. Replace if your dryer squeals, makes grinding noises, or the drum sags. Verify fit with your model number.
The dryer is a Kenmore Laundry Center, model 417-99570150. Bought in 1998, so it is an older model. Not wanting to buy the newer ones that are out now. We opted to fix the Kenmore. Just believe the older models are worth fixing, if at all possible. Frist we had to figure out what parts we would need and if the cost would be worth our time. I went on YouTube: and type in Kenmore dryer not turning on. Watched several videos to narrow down the possible problem. Next step was to... Read more
Washer won't drain or spin? A clogged or failed drain pump is the likely cause. This part removes water from the tub between cycles. DIY repair in 15-30 minutes.
So, Saturday, the washer wouldn't drain, yes, I tried the Drain/Spin cycle. So I took the clothes out, rinsed them out twice in the laundry sink and dried them. After a quick Google search, I came to the conclusion that the pump was bad and ordered a pump, $125. Over the course of the next four days, expecting the new pump on Thursday, I baled out the washer, pulled it out from the wall and propped up the front (it's HEAVY), removed the front access panel, removed the drain inlet and outlet... Washer won't spin or stops mid-cycle? A faulty lid lock strike prevents the lid from securing properly. Moderate DIY repair with included video guide.
The part is so new no video so I went onto a similar part and watched video that got me about 80%. Then, called and customer service sent me a service Manual but this still was not specific so I broke the old to get it out and in the process figured out how to do it correctly. So I installed the last bit of it which was the bezel through the machine top by myself correctly. So you take the old one out by pushing out to the right from the bottom side using a screw driver for leverage. It will... Read more
Rear support clip that holds the crisper cover shelf in place. Replace when broken, snapped, or cracked to restore stability to your crisper drawer area.
If you can't pull out the displacement pins on the crisper cover support clips that allow the wall to carry the weight of the cover, slides and drawer, you may need to push those pins in (they fall down the wall) to remove the clip. During the replacement of both front clips, I had one I could remove and one I had attempted to drill a tiny hole in to be able to pull the pin. Ultimately it did not work and needed to be simply pushed in. Do not worry, there is nothing below which the plastic... Read more
Shallow metal pan that sits below burner elements to catch grease and food spills. Replace when cracked, rusted, discolored, or warped for easier cleanup.
Personally I have experience working with electricity and knowing if I bought the part required this would be an easy fix. I got my model number and contacted Appliance Parts Pros and placed my order for the new elements, terminal blocks, and for appearance purposes 4 new Drip Pans. Excellent service and quick shipping. I ordered my parts on Sunday and received them on Tuesday. This was a simple repair that only required a screwdriver to remove the old terminal block from the range hood, wire... Read more

Secures your refrigerator's water filter in place for effective filtration. Replace if cracked, leaking, or filter won't lock. Confirm fit by model number.
First Problem - WATER INLET VALVE - After having problems with ice maker not making ice, I troubleshot and replaced the water inlet valve. Video and instructions were excellent. With 16 year old fridge, the water lines had compression fittings in the old valve, so had to cut the fittings off with a razor blade to allow the lines to insert into the new valve press-in type fittings. Worked great / no leaks at the new valve. But, new leaks occurred at the water filter housing spraying down into... Read more
Drive belt connects motor to drum for wash and spin cycles. Replace if washer won't spin, clothes stay wet, or you smell burning rubber. Verify fit.
I replaced the spin bearing, tub seal, washer and drive belt since I had it all apart. The video was extremely helpful...I would have tore the whole thing apart trying to figure out how the agitator came off....but it was very simple. Read more
Clear plastic drawer that slides into the lower section of your refrigerator to store fresh produce. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing.
I ordered new parts from your company for my refrigerator. These were easy parts to replace and did not require tools. I was most grateful in being able to order those parts by telephone from your company. This process was surprisingly easy and did not require a long wait to speak to a representative. The persons I spoke with were polite, efficent and very competent. The parts got to me very quickly in well packed boxes. I though this process would be an ordeal and it was the opposite. This was... Fix F10 error code or oven that won't heat with this control board. Manages temperature, timer, and heating modes. Moderate DIY repair with video guide.
I researched online and found that it was probably one of two things wrong: the heat probe or the control board (clock). Since the probe was less expensive, I ordered that on Appliance PartsPros. It arrived SO quickly, and with the repair video I easily replaced it. BUT... it still got the F10 reading. Sigh. So I found a local appliance repairman (I didn't want to replace a more expensive item if it turned out I was wrong). He was a good one: he listened to my story, said he was sure it was the...
