The knob broke off the plastic arm that came out of timer. Had to replace timer and knob. Very easy repair. Read more

Removed exterior panels, cleaned all venting, replaced outlet thermistor and thermostat. Pressure washed all removable parts. Reassembled. Now working as it should. Read more

I could hear the dryer motor hum, but it would not run. There was nothing obstructing the motor from turning freely so I assumed I needed a new motor. I went ahead and ordered a new pulley switch to change out while I was in there just in case. The parts arrived faster than expected. I changed the switch first and then checked the old motor which surprisingly fired right up. Now I have to decide whether to return the new motor or keep it as a spare. Read more

I replaced the cycle switch, fixing the lack of heat. The timer switch replacement fixed the auto cool down. I watched a cycle switch replacement on Youtube, demonstrating removal of the top console, which answered the only question I had about the repair. The timer switch was a hundred bucks. The only thing to be said about that is that it was a lot cheaper than a repairman or replacing the dryer. Read more

Tried replacing the thermal fuse with no luck. Replaced the control board now dryer works. Read more

Removed the heater of course and installed the part. Very easy to do no need to remove the drum, just top cover, control panel, and front door assembly. Remove the one screw holding heater, remove blue wire, turn heater CCW to the 8 o'clock poisiton. Install in the reverse order. This is the secound one in a month if it fails again i'll just bypass it and install a 25 AMP fuse. Read more

This part was the perfect fix for my broken door hinge on my LG front loading dryer. I watched a video on YouTube of a hinge replacement of a similar front loading Samsung dryer. I needed a little help from my son holding the door glass and plastic in place while re-attaching the door to the hinge, but it was an easy repair. Read more

I ordered the timer and knob on Monday, they arrived around noon on Tuesday, and within an hour I had them installed and back in business. I was amazed how quickly the parts got here. The online video showing the procedure step by step was very helpful. Instead of disconnecting all the wires and having to keep up with which one went where, I moved each wire one by one and made sure I didn't get any of them in the wrong place.
