This fan motor kit includes the evaporator fan motor and associated mounting hardware used in the freezer compartment. The evaporator fan circulates cold air over the evaporator coils and throughout the freezer and refrigerator sections. Replace this motor if the freezer is warm, you hear unusual buzzing or clicking noises, or the fan has stopped spinning, which can lead to uneven cooling or rising temperatures.
Replaced the fan and blade. Would have been easy except the mounting threads were different than the original Kenmore freezer came with. After a 14 mile round trip for 2 5/32 screws and washers, I had my freezer back. Included an improved wiring harness than the original. Read more

This is the cooling fan motor that draws air across the oven cavity and control panel area to prevent overheating of surrounding cabinetry and electronic components. It typically runs during and after oven use to dissipate heat. Replace this motor if the oven shuts off unexpectedly due to overheating, the cooling fan does not spin, or you notice excessive heat around the control panel or cabinet surfaces near the range.
Simple fix. Power off, remove 14 screws, lift top (use wood blocks to hold), unplug white and black wires from fan motor, twist motor assembly counter clockwise and lift to remove. Take new fan motor and do steps in the reverse. Worked like a champ. NOTE: First part arrived in 2 days but fan was shattered, called Appliancepartspro at 4 PM and had a replacement delivered before 11 AM the next day. Awesome response and customer service. Read more
