Frigidaire Drive Motor
Genuine Frigidaire part
By: Frigidaire
Part Number: 137116000

This part is a genuine OEM replacement drive motor intended for use with dryer models. The drive motor works by rotating the drive belt, which in turn spins the dryer drum. A faulty motor could cause the drum to stop spinning altogether, or the user may notice a loud sound coming from the dryer when the drum tries to rotate. Work gloves should be worn, and the dryer should be unplugged from the power outlet before proceeding. This part was made by Frigidaire and has been sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is made out of high-quality, durable, non-corrosive materials to ensure the best possible durability. This drive motor is sold individually. It is intended for use with dryer models manufactured by Frigidaire, Electrolux, Gibson, Westinghouse, and other brands.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The motor of our electorlux gas dryer was burned out plus i had already patched up a problem with the blower fan previously motor would just buzz on not turn   Mark F. • Fowler , IN • January 16, 2016

Ordered the parts from Appliance Pro's and installed them. Fairly easy install. Just plug in connections on motor's electrical. Top and front come off of Dryer then once belt is unhooked the Drum comes right out and you have easy access to the motor and blower. After that it is just 4 screws that hold motor and blower in. Install new equipment in bracket and fastened back in machine. When completed hit start button and off it went. Works Great. And has run several loads in last couple days. Read more
