Ordered this temperature control board, which was the correct part, but my original part was affixed to a frame with glue and attached to the control display via adhesive (taped to the control display face). Trying to remove the old control board was stretching and tearing the control display face so I was not able to install the replacement. No error on part of the company. Had a friend who is an appliance repair tech. Replace the evaporator, the heater coil, and the filter/drier. Parts were soldered together and the compressor was put under vacuum. Then, charged with 5 oz. of refrigerant. The freezer works great now! Read more

We replaced the controller board and installed a surge protctor. The challenge was accessing the board It was underneath the refrigerator. We tipped the appliance and placed a couple of 2 x 4 pieces under the front edge. Read more

Evaporater fan would not run. Unplug the fridge and plug it back in and the fan would run for a while. Installed the UI-KIT SXS and the problem was fixed. The kit saved $ over ordering each part separate. I didn't know which part was bad. Saved more than half the cost of Main Switch Board when ordering the kit. Fast shipping! I had a friend and a repair guy tell me it was the start relay that needed to be replaced, which was an easy fix. My friend said just to unplug the start relay, replace it with the new one, and it should be good. I've never tried to repair a fridge, and that was the easiest repair ever. With his help I had my order straightened out and he also was able to get the belt I needed to me the next day, which I did not think would be here so quick. It was easy to find the part on appliance parts pros. Once I found it I studied the diagram and determined that there were 3 screws in the drum that needed to be removed. I disconnected power and then removed 3 interior screws. Once I did that I removed the back cover and removed the single screw on the bottom side of the air duct that held it in place connected to the heat tube. I then reversed disassembly.
