The repair was relatively simple and quick. The only part required was a new oven thermostat assembly and the tools I used for my model was a flathead screwdriver, cross-point screwdriver, torque bit and 1/4 inch socket using a bit driver. I ordered the replacement part; after it arrived, I turned off the power to the oven - watched the video on how to replace the part, which was fantastic as it told me to make sure when I disconnect the old element not to let the wires fall behind the oven (that would have been a big problem b/c it's a wall oven) - However, one wire still slipped back a little - so I used needle nose pliers to retrieve it. So, in the process of a kitchen remodel my GC managed to lose *both* of the rear plastic supports for my GE stove! The drawer was totally unsupported without the brackets. I managed to find them on your site and see that they were a new and better design (rear mount with screw vs side mount and no firm mounting). The install was a snap and the brackets work excellent. Replaced the large burner control switches for the ones giving trouble. Since the other two switches had seen as much use as the faulty ones, replaced them too. After putting in new switches, found that one large burner had burned out so replaced it also. Range now cooks as good as new Read more

I ordered both hinges (if the nylon roller was bad on the left, it was probably going to go bad on the right side as well). The web site was easy to navigate, order process simple. Hinges arrived quickly. Slide the oven door up and off. unscrew the three screws for the hinge. You need to then pull up with some force (there is a big spring in there), and twist the hinge to get the last bit out.
