Gregory S Gainesville , FL March 14, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Gas Range RGB746HED2CT The burner tubes had been bent one too many times and finally cracked It was a Friday afternoon, of course, I went to my local supply house for the part. I did look it up on your site first to see what I needed and how much I was looking to pay. I got there and "They don't stock those!" I said thank you and went to do more hunting. I ended up at what I found to be the only other parts place in town, and they could've ordered it, for much more than you, I don't mind paying more to get it now but am not going to wait a week to pay more. I said no and came home, made the order from you and bright and early Tue. morning my parts were waiting on the porch. I did the "happy Dance" and installed them in about 5-15 min, the tube installation was less than 5 min, and made a pot of tea. I was back in business and started cooking all afternoon. Homemade macaroni and cheese, pineapple upside down cake, homemade vanilla pudding!!! It was a very simple install. I saved a service call, which buy the way, calling a service repair never entered my mind, got the parts fast and not too cheap but cheaper than locally and did it myself. And impressed all the ladies... Now my wife can't complain as much about my vast collection of tools! Thanks... I'll do business with you again for sure! Thomas C Houston , TX October 11, 2014 Appliance: Model GE XL44 SPECTRA GAS RANGE JGBP30WEA3WW Old burner tubes when i opened the burner hood I went on YouTube and watched videos on how to remove and replace the burner tubes. After watching the video, I knew how to properly remove and replace the old and broken burner tubes. The only tools needed were a hex bit to remove the burner element screws on top of the gas range, a large flat head screwdriver to use as a wedge to lift the burner top up and off and a 5/8" wrench to remove and install the burner tubes. The task only took about 15 minutes to complete. Read More... 5 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers, Wrench Set
