The evaporator fan had stopped working and caused the entire area around it to ice up. No air flow was getting from the freezer to the fridge. I replaced the damper control (it was rusted, not sure if it was workign or not) and the evaporator fan. It was a very quick repair once I diagnosed the problem. I watched a YouTube tutorial on "fridge's not cooling". A few troubleshooting ideas were discussed, one of which was to replace the "device start" and "run Capacitor". I probably only needed the device start but decided to purchase both through "AppliancePartsPros.com" for a total of $134. We recently purchased a house with Jenn-Air appliances. The previous owner had used something to clean the knobs on the stove that removed the imprint. Ordering these was easy, they fit with no problem and are manufacture initial product quality. Very Pleased. The only suggestion I would have is to provide instructions on how to install the oven door gasket. I have not attempted that yet but will soon. Read more

Range has no model ID plate anywhere. Flip off electric at circuit breaker box. Opened top of range and noted details of the faulty burner, including confirm that outer coil was fried. The maker info on back of element was useless in finding replacement: more useful was general shape, and the numbers around edge on back. Close up range, since low heat element still working. Replaced both primary and secondary water valves to make sure I fixed the problem. Both valves have to open when you function the water dispenser and when the ice maker tray needs refilling. YouTube video was a great help and let me know that I had to lengthen one hose. The video showed me the exact parts I needed to lengthen the hose. YouTube video also let me know that I had needed to transfer the internal springs in the hoses when I cut the old connections off. Never would have known... Read more

This was a fairly easy process. 1) Tighten one of the wire ends to a screw and keep the wire as taut as possible while wrapping it through the grid. Brace the grid against a corner wall, or held within a vice (don't over tighten in this instance). 2) Be sure to have the second screw ready to tighten, and again, keep the wire taut as you wrap it around this screw. After cleaning our stove top, a couple of the grate pads had fallen off the bottom and went down the drain. The pots now rocked while cooking, and not in a good way. I ordered replacement pads installed them and now the only rocking is my cooking.
