Simple replacement -- gasket fits into groove of the freezer door. No tools required. Old gasket pulls out (with a strong tug) and new gasket pushes in very easily. Was much easier than I expected. Read more

I tore into the washer until i found what i thought was the problem which was the upper outer tub splash cover gasket and when i couldnt find one in my town i ordered a new one from u folks and replaced it hoping for the best and was successful. Volt Ohmmeter test indicated defrost thermostat and heater were OK. Defrost voltage measured ~25 VAC. I ordered all the most likely repair parts, but thought the control board had failed. I replaced the control board and the freezer has been working properly for several days. I haven't decided whether to keep or return the unused parts. I damaged the paint removing the electrical control. There must be a trick to protect the paint from the putty knife and screwdriver. Read more

I cut power to the dryer. I removed the face of the dryer. I then removed the felt mounts beneath the drum. I removed the old strips of felt and cut the new seal to fit both mounts. I then remounted the felt mounts and replaced the face. Read more

Following the great video on the site, I pulled the motor off and was about to put the o-rings on when I noticed there was rust on the motor shaft. Very close inspection showed the o-rings were still good. Not having time to order a motor, and a local store was having a sale, I replaced the whole unit. Read more

Seals on the exhaust were one issue that needed fixing since lint was found inside the cabinet. A roller that holds the drum in place had broken off. And, the drive belt was aged and needed to be replaced as a maintenance item. The only issue I had was with shipment. I ordered overnight shipping but got two crucial item two days later.
