Bought a used Frigidaire 36 inch stove. The broiler didn't come on but the burners lit and the stove worked so I made do for about 4 or 5 years with that. I bumped into my KitchenAid dishwasher and the upper rack adjuster cracked. There was already a crack on the notch of the housing where the handle (lever) sits. I spent hours searching for the right trays, knowing only that the stove is GE, and what the trays look like, including exact dimensions. Superfast parts delivery. Got packages by the second day. Videos were extremely helpful and well done; we couldn't have done without them although we came across slight differences in our machine and found workarounds. Our machine did not drain the water so I drained the water manually via drain tube at bottom of the machine and checked the filter for blockage. Ordered numerous replacement parts. Started with the tracks which required pulling the washer out of the cabinet to reach the screws. Pushed it back in and re-secured. Then stared on the rack and replaced the rack adjusters and various clips. Everything is straight forward and easy to replace. I originally called a local repair place to have them repair it. I went to a local stove parts store to find a replacement. The store ordered the element for me and promised that it would arrive the next day. I waited for seven 'working' days,but the part never came. So I went online, and found the part in AppliancePartsPros.com. Replaced the burner Infinite switches for the burners having the issue. Here are the latest part numbers for this model Maytag. Left rear (LR) and right rear (RR) burners are both 6" and use the same switch. Part # WP3149404. Left front (LF) is an 11 1/2" burner Part# W10167742. The right front (RF) burner is a double burner 6" center and 9 1/2" outside burner Part #WPW10149355. Very simple repair. Luckily we planned ahead when building the laundry room, as we built a water catch basin and drain under the washer, but waking up to see 1-2 inches of water is never a good sign - even if it is contained.
