Note: This is a good test, keep something that thaws quickly and is not expensive on top shelf, to act as a barometer for your freezer health! Door gasket was easy to remove and reinstall. Original gasket was penetrated while cleaning food stuff from folds in the seal below the frig doors. (Gasket is very fragile so don't try to expand the folds while cleaning. I used my finger and a paper towel but in hindsight should have used a Q-Tip. Also, when installing the new gasket you have to be sure the seam folds over the edge of the door and doesn't get caught underneath. Read more

This was a super-easy repair. You have to line up the spring so that it sits on the bumps inside the magnet holder and the door, then you have to line up the tabs on the magnet holder so they will slide into the slots on the door. Then you just push it in. Repair took less than a minute. Read more

I replaced the "heating element" which was bad.........as well as the "Thermst-fix" and "Thermal Cutoff" which are located on the side of the element mounting location while I had the dyer all opened up and the element mounting tube removed.......I also replaced the Dryer Thermister which is located on the top of the blower fan.....To get to these parts, you must open the top of the dryer which has spring latches on both sides of the front corners... they need to be pressed in (use a putty... Repair went well, replaced the pulley wheel, belt, rear drum bearing. Had an issue after replacement with the dryer stopping after ~5mins or so when running with heat. Fluff cycle would run fine. Details: The lock nut on the pulley wheel didn't feel tight enough so i tried to crimp it back on the pulley arm. It then became way too lose. The dishwasher is 4 years old, so I figured since it was leaking from the bottom, replacing the Tub Gasket PN: AP5690109, Splash Shield Kit PN: AP4338941 , and the bottom Door Seal/Gasket PN: AP5809675 was a good idea; the machine probably has around 1200 cycles in 4 years. There's no telling how much the door had opened and closed!?
