I bought new gaskets, which were expensive! At least the repair was easy. Pulled out the old ones, pressed in the new ones. Had to redo them because I didn't notice the little flaps that need to be covering the space in the middle, between the doors. So, pulled them off, and turned them around, and pressed them on again. I went to Appliance Parts Pros and watched a few videos. Ordered the door closer plate and door hinge bearing. Removed all of the door bins and contents. Removed four screws total. Lifted the door off of the hinge, replace the two parts on the bottom hinge. Put the door back on the hinge with a little silicone on the new parts. Replaced all of the screws and no more popping. It took more time to clean all of the door bins than to fix the hinge. The video was 100% accurate. No surprises. Read more

We noticed a puddle of water in front of the fridge a couple of months ago-dried the floor up both times and thought someone had dropped ice-or spilled water. A couple of weeks ago there was water dripping through the dropped tile ceiling in the basement. First I replaced the filter thinking it was the problem, but that was not the case. Next was replace water supply valve at the back of the refrigerator. It was very easy. The only thing that was in question was how to get the refrigerator side line off of the existing valve. There is a plastic slide clip that you remove and pull the line out and press the line back into the port it came out of. It was a very simple project and took about 20 minutes. Read more
