I determined that the cam riser had broken into two pieces. Finding the part was easy on the diagram on the website. It arrived less than 24 hours after it was ordered. Top hinge was removed and the door was placed on a set of horses. One bolt was removed from the bottom of the door, the pieces of the broken cam riser were removed and the new one installed. Gotta love the inter-webs and youtube.com I did a couple of searches and some troubleshooting. Everything pointed to the damper assembly and thermo so I ordered them as well as the new versions of the flimsy plastic drawer shelves, while I was working out of state during COVID. I had the parts waiting for me at the house. Rolled in Sunday, 22 minutes later, damper and thermo installed. The fridge is cooling. My problem started with a rusting condition in the ice bin that spiraled out of hand. I took apart the ice bin and all the hardware thinking I could clean it with the suggested baking powder. Plastic parts cleaned up like new, metal parts were pitted. I wire brushed and sanded the parts put it all back together and gave it a try. Even though the fasteners probably only cost a few cents, I had to buy a new mullion for my fridge. $80! $80 because two nylon fasteners were poorly designed. Replacing the part was easy once I paid the *$80* for the new part. Unscrewed the old mullion. Slipped on the new $80 part. Read more

I WENT ONLINE AND TRIED TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AND ORDERED A DEFROST THERMOMETER, BEFORE IT ARRIVED I CALLED THE SERVICE/ADVICE NUMBER.
