The Control Board is an OEM part for Frigidaire washing machines. Located inside the cabinet, the control board houses the machine's electronic components that direct each cycle's operation and monitor safety functions. Its integrated circuits coordinate vital tasks like temperature regulation, load balancing, and spin speeds.
Causes of a bad control board can include water damage from leaks or floods, failure of electronic components due to power surges, or stresses from repetitive use of overheating connections.
Symptoms of a bad control board include:
- Flashing or non-responsive displays
- Repeatedly failing in the same segment of the cycle
- Inability to power on or start cycles
- Unusual noises, vibrations, or smells from within
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.
