Kenmore / Sears Washer Parts

I figured after 10.5 years that it might be time to replace the dispenser hoses because I was noticing black stuff in the dispenser trays. I replaced two or the four hoses and clamps on the far left side and for good measure the hot water inlet valve. The inlet valve was okay but the screen had all kinds of crap in there that I couldn't clean out so now I have an extra solenoid just in case one of the others fails. I ordered the parts myself. A prominent appliance store in town told me it would be very difficult to get the parts needed. However, I found it to be relatively easy! Ordered a replacement valve and installed it. The part from AppliancePartsPro was an exact replacement for the original part. Replaced the hot and cold hoses at the same time to insure no leaks. Cold water settings now work properly again. Read more

After watching YouTube videos on possible cause, went to appliancepartspros and order seal and leveling legs since the had been missing since machne was given to us. Parts came in within the week and replaced . No more leaks!! Read more

Removed front of dryer panel, removed top, and removed drum. Replaced motor and wheel, because the old wheel was rusted on the motor shaft, and could not be removed, so I had to break it off. Replaced motor, and reassembled. Everything works now. I also replace the switch-Pb, because the start button was getting stuck. Read more

Maytag Bravos Washer, Model #MVWX550XW1 My washer was emitting a loud noise - I describe it as a loud whining noise - while filling with water. Removed cover from Whirlpool washer (~20 years old) and found water to be leaking from hose connection at Break Vac. Obviously the hose had to be replaced but the Break Vac looked corroded and partially plugged, too, possibly inhibiting water flow. While the cabinet was off I noticed the Suspension Spring was rusted off so I ordered 1 of those, too. I originally thought it to be my capacitor. But after installing the new one my machine still wouldn't wash, upon further inspection the hose that connects to the water level indicator on the control panel had popped a loose. I reconnected it and my washer is working just fine now. So try and do a complete inspection before spending unnecessary money ($125) like I did. Read more

I changed the pump and also discovered the coin trap was wearing thin because it was rubbing against the sheet metal. So I replaced that as well. It took about 15 minutes to remove the coin trap and pump and about 20 minutes to install. The shipping was amazingly fast. I received the parts the next morning. My problem was a broken spider. I followed your excellent video, but have some additional input that should be incorporated in a new video showing the required upgrade procedures and parts required to repair an early model with damaged front tub half using currently available parts.
