This is a decorative trim bezel that surrounds the lid lock mechanism on a top-load washing machine, finished in chrome shadow. This is a rubber drive belt that connects the motor to the wash basket in a top-load or front-load washing machine. It transfers rotational force from the motor to spin and agitate the drum during wash and spin cycles.
