Dispenser won't latch or close? This detergent dispenser releases soap at the right time. Moderate DIY repair requiring inner door panel removal.
I ordered the part, looked at a YouTube instructional video on how to do it, and did it myself. It wasn't too hard, and I have no experience. I received the part very quickly! Read more
Secures the upper spray arm to the rack in your dishwasher. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to properly support and position the spray arm.
I identified the parts I would need online, shopped for price and delivery, and ordered what I needed. I bought the support arm mount assembly and decided to replace the spray arm and tube as well. Installation was straightforward, although it took me a couple of tries to get the spray arm mount oriented correctly because it is angled to allow the spray arm to miss the deeper glasses channel on one side of the upper rack in the dishwasher. After clipping the arm support and the tube support... Read more
Replacement tine row for dishwasher upper or lower rack. Holds dishes upright and properly spaced. Replace if tines are rusted, broken, or rotted away.
Just replaced the things. Had to reuse old tine rows, rollers, the spray arm, etc., i.e. I removed 'em from the old racks and put on the new ones, but that was piece of cake. Also, I cleaned the food grinder and the discharge valve compartment (thank you very ???? ???? much, Internet), so spray arms around the top rack get enough water pressure now. I didn't have to buy any parts for the latter part of this little repair project, though. Read more

Supports smooth rotation of the spray arm hub in your dishwasher. Replace if cracked, worn, or broken to restore proper spray arm movement and alignment.
My discharge would not empty after a wash cycle and I always had gross gray water left in the bottom approx 3" deep? After doing the obvious things of checking the simp for garbage, and checking that the discharge hose wasn't blocked, I removed my discharge pump ( not too hard to do) and tested. My pump which did run and turn the impeller. However, the pump evidently had weakened with time and weakened and could no longer pump the waste water up hill to the "T" connection under the sink. Replace cracked or broken dishwasher upper rack wheels. Attaches to the upper dishrack and glides along tracks for smooth loading and unloading access.
I originally ordered this part from the KitchenAid website because I assumed I needed to buy the part directly from them since they manufactured my dishwasher. Five minutes after ordering the part from them, I went on Youtube to see if there was a video instructing on the installation of the upper dishrack wheel since I wanted to make sure I installed it correctly. I saw the AppliancePartsPros.com video related to this part. I then checked the APP website and found the part for $11.00 less.... Read more
Delivers water from pump to upper spray arm in your dishwasher. Replace if cracked, leaking, or has mineral buildup affecting water flow to the spray arm.
While this is a Whirlpool dishwasher, I have the Kenmore Elite version of it. I believe them to be identical for parts. A little background: The first symptom I had of problems was plastic bits from the ball bearing retainer strips in the slides falling out. Then ball bearings falling out. A common problem with this dishwasher. When disassembling the upper basket, some of the gray plastic pieces were very brittle and easily snapped off. So I ended up replacing all of the plastic pieces related... Read more

Replacement wheel for dishwasher upper rack. Snaps onto rack frame to allow smooth sliding in and out. Needed when wheels crack, break, or dry out.
I watched a video on how to change these. I had ordered one a month ago because one had failed. I had no trouble --less than 30 seconds -- to insert a new for the bad one. Then a few weeks later, a 2nd one failed -- there are 4 of them -- and I figured that I might as well change out the bad one as well as the two "good" original ones. Total time to change out the 3 was less than two minutes and that included getting the rack completely out of the dishwasher...which you have to do in... Read more

Fix continuous water flow or dishwasher overflow issues. This inlet valve controls water entering your dishwasher. Easy DIY repair with basic tools.
Dishwasher washer would not drain after hearing glass-like particles during the drain cycle despite trying to clean the cylinder filter. Originally suspected the drain motor was damaged. After watching a video on how to replace the drain pump, I carefully energized the dishwasher (from water and electricity) then removed the dishwasher to take a look. After removal of drain hose from the pump, discovered that drain hose was connected to water inlet assembly which also needed removal to... Read more

Dishwasher not filling with water or leaking when off? The water inlet valve controls flow during wash cycles. DIY repair typically under 30 minutes.
First I cleared the food chopper area. There were things there, bits of plastic for instance, but it wasn't the reason for the dishes not getting sprayed off. The dishwasher continued to only partially fill and not circulate the water. I started the dishwasher, let the pump start and then opened the door and filled up the dishwasher manually. It sprayed water as it should, cleaning the top rack quite well. I figured the issue was not the float switch, since some water was coming in. So I... Read more
