Kitchenaid Refrigerator Parts

• Won't start

My fridge was often reaching 60-70 degrees but would work well when motor/fans were running; it just wasn't cooling regularly. I checked the coils, defrost, damper, and fans, and they all seemed to work, so that only left the cold control in terms of what I was willing to try to fix. (It wasn't worth messing with the compressor as the fridge is 12 yrs old.) I replaced the Ice Dispenser Lever. Since the replacement part is only available in white and my fridge is bone, I replaced also the Water Dispenser Lever, so it looks much better. I followed the instructions in the video, which were very useful and very well done. My problem was that the refrigerator is a KitchenAid built-in, while the instructions were for a Whirlpool, so the removal of the faceplate was quite different from what was shown in the video and more difficult. Ordered new gasket seals and had someone install them, Installed one prior myself and it was very difficult to heat and stretch and wrap doors. Ended up gouging my cabinet when stretching the seal . Leave for professionals and even they struggled. Tight now and working great. Read more

Ordered replacement grill from appliance Parts Pros. Replacement grill, was fairly priced and delivered on time. Easy fix, only took couple of minutes. Will definitely check with APP's next time I need appliance parts. Read more

Watched your very helpful and informative "how to" video and replaced both right and left hinges. Getting the front panel to line up on the clips was the most difficult part. Read more

Fridge fan is working. Water filter is new. Strong pressure on water dispenser. Ice is full on the icemaker when it stopped so I figured the ice maker broke down. It took me sometime to figure out how to remove the icemaker. No screws or slots visible Read more

Replaced Defrost timer, Heater element and Bimetal-Def. Since the Refrigerator was older and the parts are not that costly I just replaced them all since I was in there. Read more
