I replaced a broken part which attaches the hinge to the lid spring assembly and replaced both hinges which were twisted/bent. The springs themselves were ok but a part in the assembly had broken so one spring was shouldering the entire weight of the lid and the hinges had twisted. A broken cam can be bad news. The door can swing open from its own weight. I ordered a door closure kit (cams) plus shims. My fridge needs a stack of shims on the fridge door to align it vertically.
