Replaces the center coupler shaft that connects your microwave's motor to the glass tray. Order a new shaft if yours is cracked, worn, or broken.
I ordered the relevant parts that I found easily on the website. Turntable replacement is a breeze. Motor replacement was easy but required pulling the built in unit out far enough to get to the access plate from below. Looks like I will plan to replace the turntable more often (when the wheels start catching the turntable starts wobbling) which will likely allow the motor to last much longer. Read more

Replaces a cracked, loose, or worn microwave door handle. Restores a secure grip for opening and closing the door. Quick DIY fix for broken handles.
I used a putty knife to remove the black plastic cover on the inside of the door to expose the screws to the handle. Then using a Phillips screw driver, I removed the top and bottom screws to remove the handle. The bottom screw was stripped so I had to us a pair of pliers to grip the broken plastic handle to remove the screw. Replaced handle and tightened screws, snapped ring back in place. Whole process took 10 minutes. Read more
Microwave won't power on or has no display? This thermostat monitors internal temperature to prevent overheating. Easy 15-minute DIY fix for most models.
I attempted to diagnose the four thermostats/thermal switches in the microwave....two right behind the control panel, one on top of the cooking cabin, and one under a metal shroud above the magnetron. While checking continuity with a voltmeter, i questioned one of them behind the control panel and the one above the magnetron. I then noticed a burn mark on the plastic connector sleeve for the one above the magnetron. I took a scrap piece of 14 gage copper wire and beat the ends flat with a... Read more
If your microwave turntable won't spin or makes grinding noises, the turntable motor likely failed. Simple fix with basic screwdriver work.
I ordered the replacement motor. I unplugged the microwave. Then I simply removed the turntable spindle by lifting it up off the motor from inside the microwave. Next, I removed the 7 screws holing the bottom of the microwave in place. I lowered the bottom of the microwave, giving me access to the motor. I unplugged the two wires connected to the motor, removed the 2 screws holding the motor in place, then put the new motor in place and reversed the steps to complete the job. Read more

Microwave not heating but still running? The magnetron converts electricity into microwave energy. DIYers report 1-hour installs with proper safety.
Chatted with a verified expert at justanswer.com (for a fee), he confirmed the parts I needed. AppliancePartsPros.com had them in stock AND they were 100% returnable/refundable if I didn't use them or weren't what was bad, even if I installed them! Where can you get that kind of guarantee anymore? Used some YouTube videos to learn how to support the microwave to get it down, & we moved it to the table, I took out the old magnetron and high voltage diode and replaced with the OEM magnetron and... I ordered a plate and support roller from you and it came within two days, unbelievable. My wife was very happy that now she could use her microwave again. The original plate broke. When it arrived I could not believe how well it was packed. You could have dropped it from the empire state bldg. in N Y and would not have broken. The gentleman I spoke with, Nathan I believe, is an excellent representative of your company. Very professional and personable. Thank You so much. You can be sure I will... Read more
The Door Switch is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire wall ovens. It is a component located on the oven door that detects when the door is opened and closed. The door switch works alongside the control board to regulate oven operations based on door position.
Symptoms of a bad door switch can include:
Causes relate to normal wear over extended use as the door switch mechanism cycles with frequent door openings and closings. Moisture exposure or impacts could also degrade switch performance.
This OEM Frigidaire switch is compatible with Amana, Jenn-Air, KitchenAid, and some Electrolux wall oven models as well.
I diagnosed this problem via the web and the advice was spot on. The problem was a failure of the bottom door switch. I used a multimeter to verify that the switched never closed properly. It took me a minute to figure out how to remove the old switch (press a release tab under the switch while simultaneously rotating counter-clockwise). That was about the most difficult part of the repair. Read more
