The baking element was on fire Charles M. • Bandera , TX • March 30, 2014
I finally found the right serial number and found the part at Appliance Parts Pros.
I was skeptical that they would send the element that had the correct rear brace fixture.
when it came 2 days later i opened the box the Part was correct and it took about 15 minutes to replace since there are only two screws.
My oven works fine now.

Replace upper oven brioler element Robert F. • Marlboro , NJ • September 29, 2014
DISCONNECT CIRCUIT BREAKER!!!. Remove oven door. Remove two screws that attach the element to the back of the oven, and two screws that secure element to the oven roof, then remove element. Had to be careful that the four wires don't slip into the back of the oven (difficult) to keep them from falling back as they are very short. Remove and replace element. I should have also detached the temp probe as it gets in the way and is easily broken off its flimsy mounting plate. The hardest part is...

Inner most burner not working on GE triple haliant burner. Ben M. • Chattanooga , TN • October 05, 2023
Did research to determine what might cause problem. Determined that it was either the infinity switch or the triple haliant burner. Watched several YouTube videos on testing the infinity switch, but none exactly replicated this switch. Chatted with AppliancePartsPros.com on a Saturday on how to test, but later determined I needed more information, so I posted a question on the APP page for the triple burner. Received a quick response from APP which isolated the problem as the burner, not the...

The self cleaning feature of my ge double oven hasn't worked in years and recently the upper oven baking element stopped working Robert A. • Enfield , CT • October 19, 2015
I wanted to get the upper oven baking element replaced; it hasn't been working for a few months. This double oven has had two other issues, there is a fan that comes on to cool the electronics panel, That fan has made excessive noise and it operates for 2-3 hours after the oven turns off. The other problem with the oven is the Self-Cleaning feature runs for about 15-30 minutes and then turns off with an error code. I've had a local appliance repair person in to address the error code and...

Easy fix. Both elements replaced while I was at it, so all new. Figured if one went the other was going to follow.
CIRCUIT BREAKER OFF. Removed the back metal panel with my nut driver for the hex head screws. Note where the panel may slip under tabs for support. Remove slip on electrical connections on upper and lower elements. May need a pliers. (I did not want to just pull the element and the wires into the oven with the element and remove them there, like a technician would do. After 15...
