The Upper Spray Arm Mount is an OEM part for Whirlpool dishwashers. This component serves as a crucial connection point between the upper spray arm and the water supply tube within the dishwasher. The mount is designed to ensure the spray arm is securely attached and positioned correctly to distribute water evenly throughout the dishwasher during cycles.
Symptoms of a bad Upper Spray Arm Mount include:
- The spray arm becoming loose or falling off during operation.
- Inadequate water distribution leading to poorly cleaned dishes.
- Noticeable water leakage from the mount area during cycles.
- Visible wear or damage to the mount, such as cracks or breakage.
Causes of a bad upper spray arm mount can include mechanical stress from the rotation and water pressure, material fatigue over time, or damage from impact during loading and unloading of dishes.
This part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
PLEASE NOTE: Shaft is angled to match the bottom side of rack and mounts directly to the rack. On older design models part number WP8268812 will no longer be used.
