Placed screwdriver into start button hole to pry up and remove old faceplate then cleaned surface. Peeled off adhesive backing on new faceplate and reinstalled. Looks perfect and took less than 5 minutes. Read more

The most challenging part of this was determining what the problem was. At first I thought the clutch (or related parts) had worn out, but by chance, I pulled on the timer knob, and the machine started spinning. When I let it go, it stopped. Did some research via the internet and figured the problem was likely the moisture control board. Watched a video of the repair of a similar unit in order to locate the moisture control board. Used the chat feature with one of the Appliance Parts Pros to get a schematic of the dryer and advice about where to use the putty knife to release the springs for access to the board.
