Fixes refrigerator warm but freezer cold, ice buildup on evaporator coil. Moderately difficult repair requires removing freezer panel and coil.
The cooling coils were iced-up. The ice was blocking air flow to the refrigerator. This resulted in the freezer working fine while the refrigerator was warm. Called AppliancePartsPros and talked to Sally. Sally was a big help in troubleshooting the problem. I ordered and replaced the cooling coil heater. If you attempt to do this repair yourself, BE CAREFUL, the cooling coil fins are sharp. Read more
Fixes weak spray and poor cleaning caused by a worn impeller. Mounts on the circulation pump to drive water through spray arms. DIY-friendly repair.
Motor shaft was stripped, replaced with new shaft from Motor Seal Kit. Impeller was also cracked, so replaced it as well. I did run in to a small problem, the chopper blade was pressing against the metal grate on the piece that goes back over the motor seal. I spent about an hour messing with it, but thought maybe once it's all together it'll be fine. When you screw the impeller on, it pushes down the seals, which pushes down the chopper blade. Video on Motor Seal Kit page made it an... Read more

The right door on our Jenn Air French Door Refrigerator would pop open & not fully close when the left door was closed first. Called the local distributor/dealer who advised me that the magnetic door gasket probably needed replacement (cost $300.00 + for the repair) What??? Visited you web site where I noted the right door had a "closure & bushing" on the bottom of the door. Could it be this was the problem fix? Took the right door off & examined both pieces. Sure enough the bushing was... Read more

Replacement icemaker fill tube that directs water from the valve to the ice tray. Replace if cracked, leaking, or causing water to freeze in the freezer.
Replaced the water tube that went from the plastic tubing to the ice cube tray. Found that even though it was the same exact length as the original, there was only an extremely small gap from the end of the tube to a splash board. This may have been the root cause of my problems. Read more

Supports the dryer drum and prevents friction. Replace when you hear scraping noises or clothes catch between the drum and door. Confirm fit with model.
The root cause was the front glides. They were virtually gone, and the drum was on metal to metal. So I replaced them with a front glide kit. I also replaced the belt, rear rollers, and lint screen. I am happy to say all the parts fit perfectly, and I couldn't find a better price anywhere else. I will definitely keep you on file for the next time I need appliance parts! Thank you! Plugged in the freezer marked the defrost timer position, checked for... Read more
Oven won't heat properly during baking? This lower bake element restores even heating. Easy 15-minute DIY repair with basic tools required.
The delivery of the element was superfast, less than 24 hrs. Unplug the Stove from the receptical! Took a phippips screwdriver and took out the 2 screws holding it, and tilted it upwards a bit and pulled the element out about 3 inches an unhooked the wires. Hooked the wires up to the new element and pushed it back into the holes and put the 2 screws back in and turned the stove on and that was all there was to that. Read more
Fix ice buildup in your freezer with this defrost heater. Replaces burnt-out heating elements on evaporator coils. Moderately difficult, 2-5 hour repair.
I knew it was the heater element because I have replaced a few over the years. This was the first one I replaced on a french door fridge, It was very difficult because of everything I had to take apart to get to it at the heater. Overall it took me 5 hours. The stand-up freezer has not been done yet, but that should be a lot easier because I have done it before. The problem I had is that the parts diagrams on your website made my work more difficult because when I tried to magnify the image... Read more
