I ordered the new hinge and the cap they said would be needed, took the door apart and installed new hinge. Only problem, wish they told me I needed 4 of the caps, for one hinge and each cap was 11.95 x 4...pretty spendy. Fortunately I was able to reuse 3 of my worn ones for now. Read more

Did lots of internet research. Narrowed problem down to three things - door lock latch, control unit, and motor control unit. Figured out how to run the diagnostic test program, which showed a F22 (door lock) error. Removed and ohm tested the door lock (pins 1 & 3). Of course there was a repair video showing how to replace all four shocks step by step, and there was a link for purchasing the four shocks at the bottom of the video. From making repairs on other clothes washers, I was confident that some of those potential causes could have been the cause.
