- Works with the freezer fan and defrost system to distribute cold air and manage frost accumulation.

Install notes:
- Repair requires appliance power to be disconnected and refrigerant system access.
- May require evacuating/recovering refrigerant, recharging the system, and a vacuum leak test—do not attempt refrigerant work without proper certification and equipment.
- Inspect and replace associated seals, gaskets, or mounting hardware as needed to ensure proper fit and prevent air leaks.
- Verify defrost heater and thermostat function when replacing the evaporator to prevent repeat frost issues.
