Removed old plastic rack rollers and reinstalled new ones in their place. They did not match exactly to my rack model and I needed to cut grooves in the back side to fit them correctly. But was able to make it fit in the end and it works fine. Read more

I made my first order with just the make (GE) and Model (Monogram) What was shipped first appeared to be a generic GE rack set. I read some other folks post and some said they made minor adjustments to these racks and they worked fine. I was not happy with the fit and returned the first set. Replaced the tracks. You need to pull the dishwasher out for this since the screws holding them are on the outside. Not super complicated in my case since my dishwasher didn't require disconnecting water hose or power wires to pull out (there was enough slack behind). Read more

Looked at Dishwasher. Scratched head and armpit. Told wife I would fix, not repariman. Wife skeptical - shook head. Found schematic on web. Found YouTube video of guy repairing same DW model. Disassembled. Diagnosed problem. Chopper assembly welded in place by water scale -broke removing. Potty mouth. Ordered parts. Waited for parts. Washed dishes by hand. Wife doing ok. Replaced the racks. Note: The new racks fit fine but they have a different rack configuration which has an improved design for the top rack but my wife dislikes the new bottom rack design. She would have preferred an exact replacement bottom rack. She thinks the engineers that designed the new bottom rack have never loaded a dishwasher with normal dishes. Read more

Removed the bottom rack from the dishwasher. Removed the 2 front plates at bottom of the dishwasher. Removed the two screws from the top of the dishwasher holding the dishwasher to the counter-top. Pulled the dishwasher out. Removed the 8 mm screws from the outside of the dishwasher-- 4 per side (Underneath the sound proofing).
