The receptacle that held the burner element in place was broken so the burner would not make a connection and heat up. I ordered the receptacle kit. Removed freezer door by removing 4 bolts holding slide tracks for freezer basket. Pulled out old gasket. Soaked new gasket in hot water to smooth out a crease that resulted from shipping. Installed new gasket, starting at corners. Used a blunt tool to push new gasket into slot at the corners. Set remaining gasket material with hands. Fixed it by replacing the electronic control board. Only 30 min. to fix. (See further down for effort to diagnose the problem.)
