Frigidaire Switch

This is a run or start capacitor that stores and delivers electrical energy to the compressor and/or fan motor in a window or portable air conditioner. It provides the extra boost of power needed to start the motor and helps it run efficiently. Replace this capacitor if the air conditioner hums but won't start, the compressor or fan motor struggles to turn on, or the unit shuts off intermittently.

Replace a faulty overload protector switch if your air conditioner won't start or stops running intermittently. Protects compressor from damage.

This capacitor provides the electrical boost needed to start and run the fan motor in a room air conditioner. It stores and releases energy to keep the motor operating at the correct speed. Replace this capacitor if the fan motor hums but does not start, runs sluggishly, or if the unit shuts off intermittently.

Interior light won't turn off or stays on? This door switch detects door position and controls the light circuit. Simple push-in installation.

Replace a faulty cam actuator switch if your compactor won't start or stops mid-cycle. Direct-fit part for reliable cycle control and operation.

Fix a washer that overfills, underfills, or won't fill with water by replacing the water level switch. Simple repair that restores proper operation.

This rocker switch replaces a worn or broken on/off control for the appliance, restoring reliable manual control of the affected function. It's the direct-fit switch used where a small rectangular rocker actuator is needed. What it does

• Acts as the user-operated on/off control for the circuit it serves.
• Restores power control when the original switch no longer clicks or stays in position.
• Common symptom: switch feels loose, is stuck, or the circuit does not respond when the switch is operated.
• Uses the same mounting and electrical connections as the original to simplify replacement.

• Disconnect power to the appliance before attempting service to avoid shock.
• Access usually requires removing a control panel or console; keep track of fasteners and wire locations.
• Transfer wires exactly as removed; confirm firm terminal connections.
• Test switch operation and restore power only after reassembly.
