Replace your dishwasher door gasket to stop leaks and restore a tight seal. Fits between the door and tub to prevent water leakage. Confirm fit by model.
The gasket is fairly straightforward: it's just a press-fit right in to the channel. What you need to know is that you need to stretch the gasket material lengthwise prior to installation; if you don't it will be too short. The problem is that the bottom seal is not included with this gasket kit. The bottom seal begins to loosen at the corners and then begins to allow water past the door. The only way the bottom seal is sold is as part of the inner door assembly, which is costly. I removed... Read more

Water was accumulating in the drawer pedestal, it was leaking from the front of the washer so I thought it was the front door seal. I also noticed it would leak even when the washer was not being used so I doubted it was the door seal. I googled the leak problems and watched a few videos which gave me confidence on washer disassembly. With the top panel off I noticed the leak coming from the water inlet assembly. Appliance Parts Pro’s had the part and replacement video and I replaced the part... Read more

The very easy diagnosis was motor seizure. Because the machine is about a decade old, I decided to renovate most of the guts. My DIY project included replacing the motor, blower, drum bearing, belt, and door hinge. The end result is a functional dryer with no left-over parts. Lack of parts and hardware challenged the effort. For example, the blower assembly did not have the slide capture for the motor. I had to use the old one which is showing its age. With the exception of the drum... Read more

I ordered 2 new gaskets, one for the freezer and another for the refrigerator. These arrived within a few days. I soaked both in the bathtub filled with hot water for about 20 minutes. My grandson installed both gaskets without any trouble. I duck taped on the freezer door to allow it to 'seep' with the cold air inside the freezer unit as I was told this would help make a better seal. I waited 48 hours before removing the tape and opening the door. So far, I'm very happy with my 'new'... Read more
