Because many of the screws and fasteners are of multiple sizes, I would recommend laying them out in a muffin tray or on a paper with labels for where they go back. 2. The tray was simple, pick up the old one, pop in the new one. The gasket for my refrigerator was almost as easy. When I received the part I opened it up and let it lay flat for about 3 days (probably overkill). The old gasket popped right out and the new one went in really easy. The entire job took me about 10 minutes to do, no tools required. I do recommend that you start with corners and work your way to the middle of each side. I found that would prevent any stretching. I called an appliance repair company. They use a flat rate billing system which I don't like. They told me it will cost around $250.00 to replace the gasket and I would have to move my machine out so he would have room to repair it. He said the part would be in in 5 days. I have used this freezer for ~ 10 years with no problems. We have noticed that frost started forming inside the freezer, so after research, the first step was to replace the gasket around the door. I ordered the part and replaced it, which took about 45 minutes. To replace, I would recommend unscrewing the screws around the existing gasket BUT DO NOT REMOVE THE SCREWS as that will take extra work. The rubber seal/gasket was torn on our KitchenAid refrigerator right side door. I purchased the replacement and followed the directions/recommendations of how to prepare the new gasket for installation. When it's removed from the shipping box, it does have wrinkles and preparing it is a must. I set it out on our tile floor and then used a heat gun (low setting) to warm it up and massage it. It took me about 15 minutes, stopping and restarting as I let the rubber come back to it's desired shape.... Read more

I believe we had two problems. Our gasket was ripped in several places and our drain pan line was clogged. Therefore the water was frozen and backing up into the freezer. Replacing the gasket is an easy job and could possibly be done quickly enough that you don’t have to remove your freezer food items if you don’t discover additional problems during the process. Ordered the gasket first from Sears, but they sent me the wrong part, i.e. on the drawing on their web site the part was right (ADX73550621 - Refrigerator Door Gasket, Left), but when I received it - it was too small and didn't fit. I bought the door and bottom seal and was already to go. Appliance Pro got the parts to me in 2 days. I read an article that said if the spray arm holes are blocked that this could cause a wave in the dishwasher that could cause the water to fly up to the inlet used for drying and the water could run down between the front and inside door appearing to be a leak. First I watched videos about squeaking Kenmore dryers. Then I used that information to open the dryer, diagnosing the fact that the roller on the drum belt tension arm had broken and actually fallen off the arm.
