If you can't pull out the displacement pins on the crisper cover support clips that allow the wall to carry the weight of the cover, slides and drawer, you may need to push those pins in (they fall down the wall) to remove the clip. During the replacement of both front clips, I had one I could remove and one I had attempted to drill a tiny hole in to be able to pull the pin. First Problem - WATER INLET VALVE - After having problems with ice maker not making ice, I troubleshot and replaced the water inlet valve. Video and instructions were excellent. With 16 year old fridge, the water lines had compression fittings in the old valve, so had to cut the fittings off with a razor blade to allow the lines to insert into the new valve press-in type fittings. • Ice maker dispenses too much ice

Ice sensing lever (keyed onto mtr shaft) found down and would not budge. Also, test button (hidden beneath mtr) only 'beeped' when pushed. The 10 pin connector's 'clip' is also hidden against roof of freezer - mine broke but connection still seems secure. New unit was exact fit - test button (now) cycles thru one cycle of rotation and H2O fill with no beeps.... 18 hrs later, bin is half full....ice for the summer :) Remove freezer door (front) so you can lay down and look up. Pulling the dishwasher, it was obvious we had a slow leak under it. We had a slow leak from the diverter motor area in the sump. • Doesn't shut off

I only needed the Bracket Assembly motor, not the DC Motor or Fan Assembly that I also ordered so I will be sending those back. I believe we had two problems. Our gasket was ripped in several places and our drain pan line was clogged. Therefore the water was frozen and backing up into the freezer. Replacing the gasket is an easy job and could possibly be done quickly enough that you don’t have to remove your freezer food items if you don’t discover additional problems during the process. Replaced the water inlet valve assembly. That reduced the leakage to a smaller amount but did not fully stop the leakage. Replaced the ice maker assembly and that completed the repair. No leakage issues and ice maker is working with no issues. Read more
