From reading "troubleshooting" sites on the internet, originally thought I'd be replacing the front & rear drum rollers, so I ordered the rollers, and a new belt before I opened up the dryer, taking it out of use. When I opened it up the front rollers were "shot", and the front bulkhead was "totaled". I found the door switch was not making contact when the door closed. I adjusted it, but then it would not open so the dishwasher would run when the door wasn't closed. The contacts were too long in the switch so they would bend and stay together when the door opened. The original switch was very poorly made for a very expensive Maytag dishwasher. I watched the Appliance Parts Pros repair video and decided to remove the front panel to diagnose the problem. While the repair video is excellent, I could not remove the ice/water dispenser front panel with a putty knife. On my model, 106.56234400, there is no clip that can be released by sliding a putty knife up under the front panel. First off, shipping was ridiculously fast. Ordered at 3:30pm EST, shipped same day, and arrived at my house by 10:30am the following day. This was with standard shipping. Spoke to a parts pro and told them of the problem. there were 2 possibilieies from the explanation of what the parts do. onw could have been the Range oven igniter. that wasn't it beaacause the over was lighting fine. by process of illimination it was the Oven Sensor Assembly. Read more

Once I received the element within three days, I simply removed the other element by unclipping and unplugging lugs in rear. Placed the new one in clips and connected lugs and all was good! Read more
