• Not drying dishes properly

The solenoid that opened the air vent for drying was broken so it was open during the wash cycle allowing water to escape into the air duct. Found the part at SearsParts and AppliancePartsPro, and Sears was $15 more expensive. I ordered on Friday from AppliancePartsPro and selected standard shipping and the part arrive the next day (Saturday). Amazing service. AppliancePartsPro will be my first stop in the future. DIY, changed motor and sump. Put a dab of valve lubricant on seal. Wet outer seal of sump to get it to seat in bottom of tub. Cleaned electrical connectors corroded by leak. Coated connectors with dielectric grease. Had to buy additional clamp. Two clamps came in the sump package but both fit the smaller hose only. Neither fit the large hose. I wish the correct clamps were included. Home improvement store clamp is a little too wide to fit between ridges in large hose. Read more

Diagnosed the problem. The pump motor needed to be replaced. Took model number and looked part up on Appliance Parts Pro site and found the exact part. Ordered part with next day delivery . Part arrived as scheduled. Simple installation. Works like new. Thanks. Read more

• Noisy

Could not have went better. The girl in customer service verified all my parts prior to my ordering. I paid for next day shipping and they arrived on time. • Will not drain

When I removed a bunch of very wet soaking towels at the end of a wash cycle, it was clear that the water was not draining properly. The washer also made a very loud noise during the water drain period. That was suspicious. I ordered the part, opened the washer, removed the old pump and faced with a nasty surprise. I drained the dishwasher by hand, disconnected power, water, and drain under the sink. I removed the screws holding the dishwasher in place. I located the pump with the online owners manual and removed it leaving the power connected. I put the machine on the rinse cycle and then hit cancel, the pump is supposed to come on, it didn't, I tried it twice, each time it would start if I manually started it spinning. I noticed the floor around the dishwasher was starting to get wet and warp the wooden floor. The chopper had gotten out of line and had cut a pinhole into the sump housing and the dishwasher was leaking badly. It was quite easy to repair. Just unhook the drain hose and the wire connectors, twist off the turbidity sensor and waste motor, pull out the shims and the whole assemple comes up and out. Checked the grinder/pump well at the bottom of the dishwasher and fished out some aluminum foil, wire twist ties, broken plastic forks, etc. That was fun but it didn't solve the problem. Purchased new pump & motor assembly and installed it as per Youtube video. It requires pulling out the dishwasher, disconnecting electric, hotwater, and drain lines, and then removing a bunch of clips and connectors. I suspected the 'circulation pump' to be the culprit. I could not find a 'circulation pump' so I deduced via the picture schematics it must be the 'casing assembly, pump' I found on the website. I have heard there have been issues with the 'drain pump' so I also ordered the 'case assembly' on this site which is an odd name for the drain pump.
