Ordered a new control panel after consulting live help since I did not know whether the fault would be in control panel or the visible electronic board. Part arrived in two days and had dishwasher working in a few minutes. I replaced the control panel assembly. First I unplugged the range. I slid the range out so I could get to the two screws securing the panel to the range at the ends. I did this by removing the bottom warming drawer and pulling the bottom cross member. I then removed the 4 screws under the burner knobs, and the 4 hex-head screws under the panel.
