Arcing/sparking bake element David T. • Allen , TX • July 22, 2014
When the element on our 15 year old builder grade oven went out we were worried it was time to spend thousands on a new oven.

We weren't entirely sure the replacement was the right part because our oven model had an extra "0", but given it came up when I searched for the oven model (if not on the compatability checker) and the refund guarantee we...

Whirlpool glass top burner replacement James F. • Fort Lauderdale , FL • March 21, 2015
It was a simple process to enter the model number of our glass cook top stove; learn the part number required and order. It arrived in 2-days -- least expensive shipping method.
The cooktop was removed with a Phillips-head screwdriver by 4 small sheet metal screws on the right and left side of the oven.
The oven's power to the cooktop was easily disconnected via two "clips" and one ground.
Would have cost way more with an appliance repair shop and it's an easy do-it-yourself repair.

With the help of Wendee and Karen, we finally figured out my model numbers and which parts where correct.
