The back left burner didn't light and didn't click when turned the knob Oceanna C. • Watsonville , CA • April 07, 2016
My husband and myself didn't agree on which part was the exact problem. He felt it was the valve. I felt it was the ignitor/ orifice. And we both agreed the Harness-Ignitor needed to be replaced. So we ordered all 3, and I'm not sure if in fact all three were needed or not, but now with those parts replaced, the range is working like brand new!! Thanks to all the videos and diagrams on the website we were able to fix it ourselves easily. And the price was cheaper then other websites, also it...

Genuine Frigidaire part

Part Number: 5304493153
The Door Switch is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire wall ovens. It is a component located on the oven door that detects when the door is opened and closed. The door switch works alongside the control board to regulate oven operations based on door position.
Symptoms of a bad door switch can include:
- Oven failing to automatically go into bake or warm modes after door closure
- Interior lights not turning on when the door is opened
- Control buttons/display remaining constantly lit instead of dimming
- Oven not heating or functioning properly in different modes
Causes relate to normal wear over extended use as the door switch mechanism cycles with frequent door openings and closings. Moisture exposure or impacts could also degrade switch performance.
This OEM Frigidaire switch is compatible with Amana, Jenn-Air, KitchenAid, and some Electrolux wall oven models as well.

Frigidaire microwave oven lights and timer work but oven doesn't heat Reese F. • Essex Junction , VT • August 16, 2015
I diagnosed this problem via the web and the advice was spot on. The problem was a failure of the bottom door switch. I used a multimeter to verify that the switched never closed properly. It took me a minute to figure out how to remove the old switch (press a release tab under the switch while simultaneously rotating counter-clockwise). That was about the most difficult part of the repair.

Failed dual element switch on whirlpool ceramic cooktop model #gjc3034gb0 Rodney S. • Kuttawa , KY • August 17, 2014
This cooktop has a dual element with an inner burner surrounded by an outer burner. The switch controls either the inner burner alone or both. The switch failed in that it would not operate the inner burner by itself, both burners would come on and only on high. On 8/14/2014 I replaced the failed dual element switch as follows:
• Turned power off to cooktop.
• Removed unit from cabinet.
• Removed metal edging and glass top.
• Removed screws holding switch panel access underside.
• Removed old...

Genuine Lg part

Part Number: EBF60662911
This switch assembly is the door lock mechanism for select front-load washers. It detects when the door is closed and locks it during operation, allowing the washer to start and run safely without interruptions.
- Monitors door position and signals the control; failure can prevent the cycle from starting or trigger door/lock errors
- Engages the latch to secure the door during wash and spin; a bad lock may stop the cycle mid-wash
- Coordinates door unlock at cycle end; faults can delay or prevent unlocking
- Intermittent operation may cause sporadic starts or pauses
What's included: One switch assembly. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and turn off water supply before servicing
- Access the lock behind the front panel at the door opening; remove the door boot clamp to reach the mounting screws
- Move wire connectors to the new assembly one at a time to maintain placement
- Reassemble and verify proper locking and unlocking before running a full cycle

Oven light stayed on when door was closed Robert S. • Jacksonville , IL • June 14, 2015
When trouble shooting the problem I found that the light switch housing outer lip was broken allowing the switch to push through mounting surface behind the oven door. This is a slide in range so, I proceeded to pull the range away from the counter where I could unplug the power cord. Once the power was off like located the panel on the right upper side of the unit and removed the screws to allow access to the switch. I then unplugged the switch from the wiring harness and removed the damaged...

This high-amp SPDT switch routes power between circuits in cooking appliances to control items such as locks, element relays, or fans. Replacing a worn switch restores dependable operation and helps eliminate intermittent on/off issues. What it does:
- Single-pole, double-throw action directs power between NO/NC circuits based on actuator position
- Used to signal or control a component per the model's design (e.g., latch/lock, relay, fan)
- Failure symptoms can include no activation, stuck-on/off behavior, intermittent operation, or heat-damaged terminals
- Electrical tests may show incorrect continuity between COM–NO/NC when pressed or released
What's included:
- Includes: 1 SPDT high-amp switch
Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker or unplug the appliance before servicing
- Label or photograph wiring; move leads to matching COM/NO/NC terminals on the new switch
