• Touchpad does not respond

Unplugged the stove. I had to remove mounting screws from under front panel. Then Remove the side panels in order to remove the trim. Under the trim there are two gold screws that hold the front panel in place. Unplug the membrane switch and remove the 4 screws that hold it in place. mount the new membrane switch and use plug it in. Then replaced all screws. Plugged stove back in. I called Appliancepartspros.com they suggested first to replace the membrane first. I removed the old one and connected the new one temporary. Tested every button, then after everything worked I stuck the membrane to the stove. The only problem I had was trying to remove the ribbon cables from the circuit board.They are in very tight. Very easy plug and play. My only issue was diagnosis of the problem "my problem". Based on reading on the internet I ordered to control board first. waste of money. But Appliance Parts Pro site was great. I was able to find the part I wanted and easy ordering and fast delivery. 2-3 days on both parts. Read more

Removed the surrounding bezel, unplugged the bad part and plugged in the new one. One consideration, the plug is a little tricky, press each side of the plug, pull outward 1/8 " the old wiring should then slip out. Reverse procedure to install. Read more

Tried to replace the temperature probe first without testing with ohm meter; decided to take a chance. I then ordered the EOC timer/oven control. Now works great and also gained the seconds timer along with minute timer that was not stock with the first timer. Happy man; didn't have to pay the labor to install the parts, the videos gave me the confidence that I could complete the repair. Read more
