I kept a LOG on this repair fix starting 6/21/20: started with cleaning out behind the Frigidaire /coils, fan blade, floor, walls, toe-plate, compressor. #1 Replaced just the Run Capacitor [from my local appl store]. Somewhat better but not a fix. Fridge controls need much higher settings than Factory Settings - which is recommended. My 10 year old frig door was hanging down to the point it wasnt fully closing and sealing unless you picked up on it. I ordered a lower hinge bracket, upper and lower bearing, and spacer. My bracket was bent down a little due to my kids hanging on the door when looking at the bottom shelf and i discovered my bracket was held on by only two bolts when there was supposed to be three. First i called sears parts direct to order this part, because that is where i purchased my electric range. they had an outrageous price of $98. unbelievable to think that such a small piece of rubber could cost that much. i also called a few other parts dealers on other websites. they also had high prices. when i called appliance parts pros they cut the cost by 50%. i am not sure if i could have found a better price because i stopped there. it is exhausting and time consuming to have to compare... The dryer is a Kenmore Laundry Center, model 417-99570150. Bought in 1998, so it is an older model. Not wanting to buy the newer ones that are out now. We opted to fix the Kenmore. I ordered a replacement handle and screws. The process was very easy with the help of one of your "pros" who found all the parts needed and took my order. I didn't realize I was getting both a refrigerator door handle and a freezer door handle in one set, but now we have the freezer handle if we need it. Removing the old handle and installing the replacement was very easy. It looks great, in fact the replacement is metal, whereas the original was plastic, so it looks better than it ever did!
