1, Removed roller tray front stoppers from each side. 2. Pulled out empty top rack from dishwasher. 3. Removed existing top rack roller. 4. Inserted new roller where old one was located. 5. Repeated for each roller. 6. Inserted top rack back into dishwasher. 7. Enjoyed using both racks again!! Read more

Thanks to the excellent videos along with my experience as an aircraft component mechanic, I was able to replace the a number of major parts, including the armature, field assembly, brushes and 3 gears. Took my time, got it back together and set the motor speed on the first try. I'm very happy, because now my wife is very happy too. She's had that mixer for over 30 years, and now it runs like new. This was a problem that I'd had previously with this mixer. The worm gear, which is designed to fail (so that more serious damage does not occur to the motor), did fail while I was mixing some multi-grain bread dough. Removed the old planetary and cleaned metal shavings from gears. Transferred the old axle/gear assembly onto the new planetary. Inserted the new (and expensive) screw for the main gear and torqued it very tight (as well as the original other four screws). Slid the new planetary gears together and re-inserted the holding pin.
