Whirlpool Dishwasher Parts

Tipped the dishwasher on to its front, loosened the drain hose clamp and pulled the hose off. Then unscrew the fill hose which looks like a garden hose adapter. Cut the zip tie on the drain hose and take note of how both hoses are routed, then pull both hoses out the back of the dishwasher. Insert new hoses and route them correctly and hook everything back up. Couple of notes, I didn't have to take off the outer cabinet to do this repair. After having replaced the drum support rollers twice in a roughly 3yr period, I realized something wasn't quite right, and indeed it wasn't. I replaced the rear tube that feeds water to the top and middle spinners, and this appears to have fixed the problem. The middle spinner, which is attached to the bottom of the top rack, has a tube that connects to a hole in the middle of the rear tube.This hole has a rubber flap and I noticed that this flap was wide open. Removed torx screws attaching stainless liner to outer stainless door. Lift off inner door and carefully separate the electronic components from where they snap into the control panel. Relocate electronic components to the new control panel. Reattach the inner liner with the torx screws. It is helpful to have an extra set of hands to hold the control panel while making the electronics swap to avoid pulling on the wiring harness. Removed and replaced diverter motor. Ops check good, no more leaking. I'm guessing the seal was the problem but diverter ruined (water residue) from leaking over the last 5 years??? This seal is only available if you buy the tub so followed another review - removed diverter then gently pried out the seal, cleaned and then lubed with silicone grease. Also turned the seal 180 degrees or the opposite way before reinstalling the diverter and then wrapping it all back under the counter. Read more

1, Removed roller tray front stoppers from each side. 2. Pulled out empty top rack from dishwasher. 3. Removed existing top rack roller. 4. Inserted new roller where old one was located. 5. Repeated for each roller. 6. Inserted top rack back into dishwasher. 7. Enjoyed using both racks again!! Read more

Tried bending the strike to get a firmer grip, but no luck. Replaced the door latch and strike. Washer is about ten years old. You can feel the new catch has a more positive engagement. When you replace the strike, be sure not to tilt it downward in front. It will go in the way but it will keep the door from closing. Not sure I needed to replace the strike but didn't want to risk more downtime. Read more

Tore down transmission gear case of my Kitchenaid Professional 600 stand mixer and replaced worn components to include front and rear sleeve bearing, worm gear thrust bearing, worm follower gear, drive shaft retaining clip, center shaft o-ring, and dowl pin. We initially noticed the dishwasher running loud and failing to completely clean dishes.
