Their loss- no wonder they're going out of business. Also, should note that the original assembly was plastic but the replacement was metal. Sure sign of a crappy cost-cutting decision. Appeared to be two problems: the latch was worn and one of the pins that slid in a guide on the actuator located in the inner panel had broke off. Detergent lid spring and pin appeared to be OK but decided to replace since I was aready working on it. I ordered all the inner panel mechanism from the control arm to the latch actuator on the inner panel. The repair was successful as the detergent dispenser now opens during its cycle. Read more

First tried replacing the seal around the door as that was the simple and most logical fix. Still leaked. Removed the front and upper panel to inspect. Found calcium deposit running down from under the Air Vent Assembly and wet behind the black stick-on insulation. Easy to trace the leak to the bottom of the door. => Ordered new Air Vent Assembly, gasket and Vent Deflector. Parts arrived. Took 5 minutes to remove upper panel. Replaced sump because the seal is not sold separately. You will need a skinny clamp after cutting the original swaged clamp off. Also Had to replace the cover as its seal is not sold separately either. Used dish soap on seals during assembly. Read more

Tipped the dishwasher on to its front, loosened the drain hose clamp and pulled the hose off. Then unscrew the fill hose which looks like a garden hose adapter. Cut the zip tie on the drain hose and take note of how both hoses are routed, then pull both hoses out the back of the dishwasher. Insert new hoses and route them correctly and hook everything back up. Couple of notes, I didn't have to take off the outer cabinet to do this repair.
