We initially noticed the dishwasher running loud and failing to completely clean dishes. After looking for solutions online and watching some short videos, we decided to open the dishwasher up and try to fix it ourselves. We opened it up and found the circuit board had burned out causing a horrible odor. We ordered our new board, popped it in and we now have a working dishwasher. Hooray! Read more

Found the correct USA made OEM part from Appliance Pros, and installed it on my new Dishwasher. The use of this correctly manufactured Adapter prevented any damage to the threads of the dishwashers inlet solenoid valve which is made of a plastic material. If I had forced the after market adapter onto the solenoid valve instead of ordering the OEM adapter; it would have ruined the threads on the plastic solenoid valve resulting in the need to purchase a very expensive replacement valve. ... Normally when you let go of the dishwasher door partly open it would stay in that position. But lately when you let go of the door it would fall to the fully open position. Turns out this little cable was broken one one side. Just puss the dishwasher slightly out of the cabinet and you can replace the cable in minutes. It is just held in place with a spring. Read more

Looked at Dishwasher. Scratched head and armpit. Told wife I would fix, not repariman. Wife skeptical - shook head. Found schematic on web. Found YouTube video of guy repairing same DW model. Disassembled. Diagnosed problem. Chopper assembly welded in place by water scale -broke removing. Potty mouth. Ordered parts. Waited for parts. Washed dishes by hand. Wife doing ok. Found the broken parts upon disassembly. Ordered new parts. Parts were shipped very quickly. Read more

Dishwasher failed to run normal cycle. Would fill and then empty, but would not run through the normal rinse/clean cycle. Determined that the Sump/Motor Assembly needed to be replaced. Dishwasher had to be pulled out to access part. Was difficult to snap into place and had to maneuver several times to get a tight seal before reattaching peripheral components. Ran a one-hour cycle to test for leaks and efficiency before reinstalling unit under counter. Read more
