Checked thermal fuse, belt pulley switch, door switch, and motor windings (primary 2.3 ohms start 2,2 ohms). Called Appliance Pros, told them my problem. They said that it appears to be the motor even though the ohm readings seam Ok and that I could return the motor if it was not the problem. I ordred the motor and blower wheel. Installed the new motor and everything worked! The only difficult part was that the motor blower had to be chiseled out. Their motor repair video was a great help. Read more

The washing machine would allow you to program it, and all the lights on the control panel would light up, but pressing start did nothing. My dishwasher was leaking and I called to have a certified technician come to diagnose the problem. I removed the kick panel from the bottom of the machine. He turned it on and we saw that water was leaking from the bottom. He said I needed a Sump kit but it wasn't in stock. The cost was $170 plus tax and labor cost was another $140. Personally I have experience working with electricity and knowing if I bought the part required this would be an easy fix. I had previously disassemble the pump assembly to find what I at first thought was an oddly shaped spring, which it was. What I learned by researching the parts was that the spring's odd shape was a result of something having gotten caught in the pump and jamming the impeller. • Will not fill with water

Cycle would complete but dishes weren't clean (not even really wet) and soap wasn't dissolving. Could hear fill at start but maybe not spraying or filling again in cycle. Thought it was the control board, but actually this was not the error. Replaced the control board and same problem arose, only new control board version actually stopped cycle with message that dishwasher couldn't fill.
