The knob was broken inside, where it fits on the burner turn shaft. You just can't depend on a glue or duct tape fix for something like that. Only solution was replacement. I got the model number from my stove and called your firm. The cusotmer service folks were very knowledgeable and identified the right part and I had it in the mail a week later. We recently purchased a house with Jenn-Air appliances. The previous owner had used something to clean the knobs on the stove that removed the imprint. Ordering these was easy, they fit with no problem and are manufacture initial product quality. Very Pleased.
The only suggestion I would have is to provide instructions on how to install the oven door gasket. I have not attempted that yet but will soon.

Ordered new cook top, arrived in 2days. Replacement was very easy. Part was perfect fit and had same markings as factory top.
Repair only required a philips head screwdriver. Removed 8 screws holding top on, lifted front up and unplugged two electrical connectors, them removed top. Flipped top over and removed the four burners (8 screws). Moved burners to new top, installed 8 screws, set top on stove, reattach electrical connectors, then reinstall 8 screws to hold the top on.
