I figured that the drawer slides were the issue as the Unit is 10 years old and the drawer has had a lot of use. I ordered both drawer slides and watched the AppliancePartsPros.com video on youtube. Replacement of the drawer slides went without issue. Simple !! Read more

Replace both (L&R) slide rails. One screw each side. The other two 'screws' were permanently fixed so I just slide the sides over the slide keyholes. Piece of cake. Read more

Ordered right hand bucket glide and complete ice bucket assembly (cost more than just the cover, but did so in case other ice bucket assembly parts were worn out). Replacing bucket glide was done relatively easily by first turning off the icemaker, removing the old ice bucket assembly from the glides, removing all screws on the right hand glide, and loosening the screws on the left hand glide. Used the schematic provided to select the parts needing replacement and placed the order. Parts arrived and swapping new for old was simple. For the most part it was a matter of taking out the old and putting in the new. There were a few screws with wheels to replace but that was easy as well. Was able to type in the model number on the website. Took a little bit of figuring out the parts I needed to order (since some were assigned new part numbers over time) but not too bad. The website (or a review) made it known that I would need to cut the bar for the rack with a simple hacksaw. The new replacement parts were absolutely perfect! Plus, the new drawer had a molded-in reinforcement in the same spot the old drawer broke - design improvement that should keep the new drawer safe much longer. Replacement was a snap - just slide out the old, slide in the new. The real advantage was, while we were at it, we cleaned out all the old bottles, produce, leftovers, etc, so that the refrigerator is now as clean inside as the day we bought it. Originally we tried some clear packing tape — we keep the refrigerator very clean and it was becoming ridiculous. So we ordered the parts from appliancepartspros.com. It takes a minute to review the expanded diagram to decide exactly which parts to order. For example we had to get a new glass shelf for the crisper drawer as this is what the wheels attach to, and then unscrew out existing metal bracket from the broken one and reattach to the new one. Replaced with new ones. When removing the handle frame from the old crisper draw run it under hot water in order to make it more flexible for removal and instalation onto the new bin. Read more
